A CME session was organized by Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology,  Jagannath Gupta Institute Of Medical Sciences And Hospital , Budge Budge in collaboration with  the Bengal Academy of Forensic Medicine on ‘Medical Law And Ethics: Current Scenario’ on 20th November, 2023. Many eminent medicolegal experts from all over the state graced the programme with speeches about various important topics concerning medical ethics.  A Panel discussion on “Exposure of MBBS doctors to medicolegal issues including autopsy: current scenario, lacunae and suggested remedial measures.” was also held to highlight the importance of imparting basic knowledge of Forensic medicine to all medical graduates.  The programme was attended by Forensic medicine experts from various medical colleges and hospitals. Several doctors from other specialities, undergraduate MBBS students and interns also participated and made it a huge success.
